Simple Makeup Tips & Ideas: Makeup for Hooded Eyes

Hooded eyes are beautiful, characterized by extra skin that falls from the brow bone towards the eyelids and covers them. This feature give the face an alluring sexy look, which a lot of beautiful stars have it, such as Jennifer Lawrence, Blake Lively and Taylor Swift. If you have them, you know well how hard it is to apply makeup on your eyes, as the canvas is partially hidden. There’s no good space to paint eye shadow or draw lines, or even powder. Even though, with the right tools and good tips, you will know how to brighten those hooded eyes of yours, and paint them with the colors you like.

Before you jump into learning how to apply makeup for hooded eyes, make sure you have this trait. Look into the mirror and search for a crease above the eye. If there is a crease, look whether it is hidden when you have wide open eyes. If yes, then you do have hooded eyes. Here’s all you have to know about their makeup..

Bigger Eyelids

With hooded eyes, a bigger eyelid is what you need to have for better makeup. You need to create fake eyelids, that’s for sure, so that the eyelid looks much bigger than it really is. How do you do that? You need to draw a line above your natural eyelid with a dark pencil, and then smudge it well. Then add dark eye shadow above the line and blend it outwards. Your eyes will look bigger with the fake lines above.

The Smoky Eye

Smoky makeup works well with your hooded eyes, as it helps open up the eyes. With hooded eyes, you need to apply smoky metallic makeup the normal way, and the trick here is to add a lot of sparkle. Use shimmery eye shadow, and lots of it, on your entire lid.

The Smoky Eye Upside Down

If you find it hard to apply smoky makeup on your hooded eyes, then rely on the upside-down trick. Focus on the lower lash line, and apply the dark eye shadow on it. Use a light champagne color on the lid and wing it out so that your eyes look bigger.

Fast & simple makeup tips & ideas for your hooded eyes:

– Make the highlighter your best friend. Use it for brighter & bigger eyes.

– Rely on bright vibrant colors that extend past your lids.

– Focus on other features of your face. Apply makeup on your lips when you feel it is hard for you to draw a cat eye.

– To make sure you’ve done your makeup the right way, go big with your makeup. Create an oversized cat eye wing that brings too much drama.

Care Tips For Virgin Human Hair Extensions

Virgin human hair extensions are expensive, but they definitely are worth buying because they are natural and they get to serve your hair needs for a very long time unlike treated and synthetic hair options. There are so many styles you can choose from as well as color shades and lengths when buying the virgin human hair extension. But the truth is that your virgin human hair extension is as good as the care you accord it.

If you are not keen on taking good care it, then you risk damaging it from dryness and improper care. When you buy virgin human hair extensions, it is advisable that you also find out what the best ways of taking care of the hair is. Here are some basic but very important care tips that will ensure your virgin human hair extension remains in good condition thus serving your hair needs loyally.

Tip 1 – Brush it before washing and before going to bed. This is a simple practice that eliminates tangles as a result of friction or wind. It is however very important that you avoid brushing the hair when wet because follicles tend to be vulnerable during this period.

Tip 2 – Choose an organic shampoo that is sulfate free. The fact is that sulfate only strips hair of natural oils that are essential. Because your scalp does not supply the strands with necessary nutrients, you need to use products that do not end up drying the hair strands. Choose natural oils and conditioners to manage the virgin human hair extension without damaging it in any way.

Tip 3 – When washing the virgin human hair extensions use warm water so that you do not damage the scalp and cuticles. Wash in gentle downward motions using the palms. Avoid bunching up or scrubbing the hair together because it opens cuticles and when they rub together they cause friction.

Tip 4 – When still, well, add a few drops of natural oils like coconut and almond and ensure you apply evenly so it penetrates cuticles and moisturizes it as appropriate. Rinse hair with cold water to lock in nutrients and moisture and then allow it to air dry so you do not dry out the strands.

Tip 5 – Make sure you keep the hair moisturized same way you do with your skin to keep it in top condition. Almond and coconut oils are some of the best for moisturizing. You can use the oils twice a week or when you feel a need to put in small amounts so you do not end up with messy oily hair. For styling and frizz, you can use argan oil although it is dry oil and will do little to moisturize the hair.

Tip 6 – Avoid the use of heat on virgin human hair extensions and keep chemical based hair products off it too. Select the best organic, natural hair products to enjoy the best results caring for your virgin human hair extensions and own hair too. All hair products should be gentle and beneficial to the hair.

Beauty Therapy Vs Cosmetology

People often get these two terms confused. They both take place in a beauty school, they both require some form of certification, and they both involve cosmetic work that can help clients look and feel more beautiful than ever before. Most individuals think that these two are the same thing, but there are huge differences that individuals should be aware of before deciding on their career path.

Cosmetology

Cosmetology is what most people think of when they think of beauty school in the first place. They envision cutting and styling to perfection in a salon. Facials, expert manicures and pedicures and flawless make up looks are a few other things that cosmetology is known for. One of the key ways to help differentiate between the two is remembering that cosmetology often involves things that are more along the lines of cutting, styling and quick surface things that can easily be reversed, such as facials or manicures.

Beauty Therapy

Beauty therapy is similar to cosmetology in the fact that a person goes to school to learn beauty treatments. The coursework is often different, however. Schools that specialize in beauty therapy treatments often offer more advanced coursework, like laser hair removal training and other beauty therapy. In addition to this, they often offer some of the more popular courses that are offered at schools that specialize in cosmetology, such as certified nail technician courses.

Which one to choose

When students are faced with deciding which school to attend, they are often faced with choosing between cosmetology and beauty therapy schools. While beauty therapy schools offer some of the same things that cosmetology schools offer, most cosmetology schools do not offer courses in laser hair removal training.

Students are encouraged to sit back and consider their education goals. If a student would like to learn more advanced beauty therapy treatments, a beauty school that specializes in courses such as laser hair removal training will be the best option. Students that have a dream of working in a salon and giving their clients a haircut that they will fall in love with or the perfect pedicure will find that a beauty school that specializes in more cosmetology practices instead of advanced beauty therapy treatments, like laser hair removal training, will be more up their alley.

Shop around

An education is what determines a person’s future, making it one of the most important decisions in a young adult’s life. Because of this, students are encouraged to take their time shopping around, just like when they want to find the perfect outfit.

Many beauty school have websites that list their tuition, the various courses that are offered, and what the schedule will look like. If a student is interested, they can usually take a tour of the facility, and visit the labs that they will be working in. Sometimes, a school will even allow an interested person to sit in on a laser hair removal training class so that they can determine if this is the path that they would like to take.

When deciding on a career path, knowing the difference between cosmetology and beauty therapy is vital in making the decision on which to school to attend, and which career path they would like to take. Confusing these two terms is extremely common, but it can also mean the difference between attending a school that focuses on stylist work and attending a school that focuses on more advanced beauty treatments, such as laser hair removal training.

Future students are advised to keep these two terms, and their differences in mind as they visit different school and begin to develop their own education goals.

About Us: Ray Cochrane Beauty School remains one of the most well-known schools in the London area. It is a small school that is known for having a more affordable tuition than larger schools, and they are known to offer smaller class sizes for a more personal learning experience. They also pride themselves in being well-known for offering a high quality education that has been internationally recognised.

What to Look for in a Beauty School

When considering all of the wonderful options that the United Kingdom has to offer, it can be difficult to decide which beauty school to choose for an education. Many of them offer a variety of courses, and they have wonderful instructors. These key things will guarantee that students get a high quality education that will help them meet their education goals.

Various courses

Every student has a different education goal. Some students would like to take a wide variety of courses to pass the CIDESCO exam while others would simply like to become a nail technician and only require a few of those courses. For example, a person that would like to go through laser training and become a level 4 will find nail technician courses a bit unnecessary.

Making sure that a beauty school offers a wide variety of courses can guarantee that every individual is able to meet their educational goals, no matter how large or small those goals may be. Many schools also offer specific courses, like level 4 laser training. If this is a goal, students need to keep this in mind when looking into different beauty schools.

Accredited

Making sure that a beauty school is certified is one of the most important things that students need to do. This means that the certificate they receive after level 4 laser training will help them find a job, and employers will take them seriously. Schools that are not properly qualified will still give students a certificate, but when they present their certificate stating that they have completed level 4 laser training, they will be told that the establishment does not accept them.

This situation is all too familiar for some students that spent their hard earned money on tuition only to find out that they have to re-take all of the courses again at a different school.

Tuition

Different courses often have different prices. For example, a level 4 laser training program may cost a bit more than a beginner nail technician class. It is important to consider future goals, and then look at the overall cost of the education to see which option will still provide a high quality education at a price that students and their families can afford.

While looking at the cost of tuition, it is often beneficial to ask whether payment plans are available, and if there are any late fees.

Students are also encouraged to ask what exactly tuition covers. Some schools may have a higher tuition, but that same tuition may cover everything. Another school may require students to pay an exam fee, pay for the use of uniforms or pay a lab fee to use the equipment when learning level 4 laser training. Students are advised to look at all of the costs, and what is covered by tuition before making their final decision.

Flexibility

As more and more non-traditional students are taking higher education classes, more and more schools are trying to meet their needs. Potential students are encouraged to consider their current schedule, and browse through schools that can help meet their needs. Some schools offer week day classes, or they allow students to attend part time. Looking at the different modes of study is an essential part in making sure that a school is perfect for the student.

Choosing the perfect beauty school to attend can often take some time as students will want to carefully consider each option, but, in the end, that extra time will be well worth it. Students will wind up getting a high quality education that will meet their needs that they can afford by taking the time to look at all of their options.

It is a small school that is known for having a more affordable tuition than larger schools, and they are known to offer smaller class sizes for a more personal learning experience. In three years, every single student to attend Ray Cochrane Beauty School has met the education goals that they have set out to achieve.

What Is Beauty To You?

Define beauty? Do you look in the mirror and like what you see? Do you see yourself as beautiful? Beauty in our society has many various forms. For me, beauty encompasses confidence, strength, healthy habits and values. I almost view beauty as the definition of your own inner peace, your true happy self, whereby you look in the mirror and despite any imperfections in your own eyes you still feel satisfied with your image. This is beauty to me.

Why is there so much pressure on perfection within yourself in our societies? Does everyone men, and women strive to be the very best human being they can be for you or for others? What do you need to achieve this beauty? Often in keeping your mind and body healthy your bombarded by different methods, products, exercise routines, creams, perfect remedies, crash diets, cleansing routines and beauty covers’. Do these help you form that perfect image to increase your inner strength, or is it through sheer will and determination that you nurture the body your given to give you this beauty.

What qualities does beauty have in your opinion? Thinking about this, I straight away visualise myself and my best qualities, my large eyes, my long legs my thick hair… but I don’t feel defined by my appearance. Beauty therefore would be one’s own perception. Remarkably beauty is defined by different cultures and societies differently. I love this about beauty, the diversity that it brings to our own personal realities.

As I get older I realise that my skin isn’t as smooth as it used to be, and seeing this in the mirror encourages me to find a cleansing cream that hydrates and keeps my skin moist. I also have very thick hair, which tends to go unruly, so am conscience of my hair appearing matted to the general public, so look for an anti-frizz hair hydrator. When I go out with my loved ones’ I love to dress up and look my best in public, I still put eye shadow on and enhance my eye color and shape with cosmetics. All of which increases my personal confidence, which helps me define my own perception of beauty.

Remarkably I believe beauty can be achieved by everyone in any society, both intellectually and physically. People’s perspectives’ and stereotypes need to be challenged to accept all forms of beauty definitions. Beauty truly begins within yourself, and when you’ve reached your own inner happiness you will infect others with your positive nature and appearances. We are all attracted to confidence within a person, to a person that is willing to try their very hardest, and to those that inspire greatness. Be your best self for beauty. Find your own best image and look for things that will help you achieve that best image for your own beauty and happiness.
